24/7 Professional Chimney Leak Repair for Houston Homes

Reliable Chimney Leak Repair in Houston | Find the Source. Fix the Problem.

A leaking chimney is rarely caused by just one issue. Water can enter through damaged flashing, a cracked chimney crown, deteriorated mortar joints, missing chimney caps, or other weak points around the chimney system. Simply sealing the surface rarely solves the problem for long. United Home Services provides professional Chimney Leak Repair Houston homeowners trust to identify the true source of water intrusion and perform repairs that help protect the chimney, fireplace, roofline, and surrounding structure from further damage.

Finding the Chimney Leaks from the Source

Water stains around the fireplace, damp masonry, or leaks after heavy rain don’t automatically mean the flashing is bad. The problem could begin at the chimney crown, chimney cap, mortar joints, roof-to-chimney junction, or another part of the chimney system.

Our Chimney Leak Repair Services in Houston always begin with a detailed inspection to locate where water is entering. Once we identify the source, we recommend the repair through our chimney flashing services that best addresses the problem instead of relying on temporary sealants.

United Home Services

Professional Chimney Leak Repair Services in Houston

No two chimney leaks are exactly alike. We tailor every repair to the condition of your chimney and the cause of the water intrusion.

Chimney Leak Inspection & Diagnosis

We inspect the chimney, roofline, flashing, crown, cap, masonry, and surrounding components to determine exactly where moisture is entering before recommending repairs.

Chimney Flashing Repair

If damaged or deteriorated flashing is allowing water to enter where the roof meets the chimney, we'll recommend the appropriate flashing repair or replacement solution.

Chimney Crown Repair

Cracked or deteriorated chimney crowns often allow rainwater to penetrate the masonry below. We repair or replace damaged crowns when needed to restore proper protection.

Chimney Cap Repair & Replacement

A damaged or missing chimney cap can allow rainwater, debris, and animals into the flue. We inspect the cap as part of our chimney services in Spring and recommend repair or replacement where appropriate.

Masonry & Mortar Repairs

Cracked bricks, deteriorated mortar joints, and aging masonry may allow moisture to penetrate the chimney structure. We repair damaged masonry to help restore the chimney's integrity.

Waterproofing Recommendations

Once active leaks have been corrected, we may recommend chimney waterproofing where appropriate to help protect suitable masonry from future moisture exposure. Waterproofing is preventive protection not a substitute for repairing an active leak.

Chimney Leak Repair vs. Chimney Waterproofing

These services often work together, but they are not the same. Chimney leak repair focuses on identifying and correcting an active water-entry problem caused by damaged flashing, cracked crowns, deteriorated masonry, or other defects. Chimney waterproofing is a preventative treatment applied to suitable masonry after necessary repairs have been completed. It helps reduce future moisture penetration but does not fix existing leaks.

Beware of United Home Service. Scammers. I had 3 A/C companies and air purification company and 4 ductwork companies look at my system this last month. One A/C company was just an annual check on my system. All was good. I am looking for quotes for installing air vents and anything that may help with my upstairs, as we keep our doors closed all the time. I was told my system would be more efficient with return vents in the room. As I had never heard this before, I was getting quotes. As I was getting quotes, I was learning more as well as finding out how much each would charge. They were all about the same. United Home Service came and like all the others wanted to look in my attic. He was up there so long I went up to see what he was doing. I told him I was not having issues just trying to improve my efficiency. Well, Ron came up with all these other problems. I asked him why all the other companies never came up with this problem. And he said the work that was done was wrong. But after all these other companies my system worked. Now it doesn't. They will not address the issue and tell me to call my home warrenty service and pay to fix what they caused.
