Best Chimney Relining Houston | Restore a Safe, Properly Functioning Chimney Liner

United Home Services provides professional Chimney Relining Houston homeowners trust for damaged, aging, or deteriorated chimney liners. Whether your chimney requires a new liner installation or complete chimney liner replacement, our team evaluates the existing flue and recommends the solution that best fits your fireplace and chimney system.

A Damaged Chimney Liner Can Affect More Than Just Your Fireplace

Most chimney liners wear out gradually. Small cracks, deteriorated clay tiles, corrosion, or years of heat exposure often go unnoticed because the damage is hidden inside the flue.

Our Chimney Relining Services Houston begin with a detailed inspection of the chimney liner and venting system. If relining is the right solution, our Houston home service professionals will explain your options, discuss compatible liner materials, and recommend an installation designed for your fireplace and chimney configuration.

Signs Your Chimney Liner May Need Replacement

Because the liner is hidden inside the chimney, damage isn’t always obvious without an inspection. However, several warning signs may indicate it’s time for a professional chimney inspection and evaluation.

Look for these signs:

• Cracked or deteriorated chimney liner
• Pieces of clay tile found inside the fireplace
• Poor fireplace draft
• Smoke entering the room
• Strong fireplace odors
• Excessive creosote buildup
• Moisture affecting the flue
• Older chimney that has never had its liner evaluated

What Happens After Your Chimney Is Relined?

Once the new liner has been installed, we’ll review the completed work and explain how the liner integrates with the rest of your chimney system. If we identify unrelated issues involving the chimney cap, crown, flashing, or masonry, we’ll discuss them separately so you can make an informed decision.

If the liner were the only issue, that’s exactly what we would tell you.

Beware of United Home Service. Scammers. I had 3 A/C companies and air purification company and 4 ductwork companies look at my system this last month. One A/C company was just an annual check on my system. All was good. I am looking for quotes for installing air vents and anything that may help with my upstairs, as we keep our doors closed all the time. I was told my system would be more efficient with return vents in the room. As I had never heard this before, I was getting quotes. As I was getting quotes, I was learning more as well as finding out how much each would charge. They were all about the same. United Home Service came and like all the others wanted to look in my attic. He was up there so long I went up to see what he was doing. I told him I was not having issues just trying to improve my efficiency. Well, Ron came up with all these other problems. I asked him why all the other companies never came up with this problem. And he said the work that was done was wrong. But after all these other companies my system worked. Now it doesn't. They will not address the issue and tell me to call my home warrenty service and pay to fix what they caused.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

A properly installed stainless steel chimney liner can last 15–25 years or more, depending on usage, maintenance, and fuel type. Annual inspections help extend its lifespan.
A damaged liner may show signs such as poor draft, smoke entering the room, pieces of clay tile in the fireplace, or issues identified during a professional chimney inspection.
The cost depends on the chimney height, liner material, accessibility, fireplace configuration, and the condition of the existing flue. We provide free on-site estimates before recommending any work.
Many relining projects can be completed in a day, although larger or more complex chimney systems may require additional time.
That depends on the extent of the damage. Minor issues may have repair options, but severely deteriorated liners often require complete replacement to restore proper venting.
Common options include stainless steel liners, clay tile liners, and other approved liner systems. The appropriate choice depends on the chimney design and fireplace requirements.
Older chimneys may benefit from a liner inspection, especially if the original liner has deteriorated or the fireplace has been modified over time.
